RE: COVID 19 (Novel Coronavirus) & Impact to Municipal Service
The staff of the United Township of Head, Clara & Maria continue to work closely with the Renfrew County Health Unit and community partners to monitor the COVID-19 virus (coronavirus) and respond appropriately.

Impact to Municipal Services
At this time, the municipality is maintaining essential services as we continue to monitor the situation with guidance from the health unit and other levels of government. Essential services such as the landfill, roadside pick-up and routine road maintenance are not impacted at this time.
Taking into consideration the wellbeing of residents and staff and in an effort to remain in compliance with the “Stay at Home” order, the following measures are being implemented, effective January 14th, 2021:

Incorporated January 1st of 1878 the Municipality of the United Townships of Head, Clara & Maria is located on the westernmost border of Renfrew County in the Ottawa Valley.
Our municipality consists of the four hamlets of Deux Rivieres, Bissett Creek, Stonecliffe and Mackey and are located 2 hours and 20 minutes west of Ottawa and 1 hour east of North Bay.
Our municipality runs along 60 kilometers of Trans Canada Highway 17 and is bordered by the Ottawa River on the north and Algonquin Park on the south.
